The core assembly is the core of the heat exchanger and used to cool bleed air in anaircraft air conditioning system. The heat exchanger is an aluminum air to air heat exchangerused in the aircraft air conditioning system, It has a core assembly with two pan assemblieswelded to one side and inlet and outlet flanges welded on the top and bottom. The coreassembly has bleed air fins and cooling air fins that are separated by plates to form hot and cold air passages that run perpendicular to each other through the heat exchanger.
