FEATURES

During operation, hot bleed air enters through the bleed air inlet, flows through theconnecting layers of fins and exits through the bleed air outlet. Heat from the bleed air isconducted through the fins and is given to the cooling air flowing through the alternate layersof fins. This exchange of heat through the fins cools the hot bleed air as it passes through theheat exchanger.
